Design website logo with GIMP
GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, is a free alternative to the pricy PhotoShop. GIMP has a script-fu utility, which provides a quick way to generate images with special effects. This is particularly useful for a non-designer person like me. Below is the list of logo samples generated by GIMP script-fu utility. I hope it could be useful to people who are looking for website logos. What i did was extremely primitive, and GIMP is certainly capable of doing much much more than this. Not convinced? try google and you'll find many professional looking examples designed with GIMP.

I was always interested
I was always interested whether it is possible to learn working with photoshop on my own. I am actually one of such enthusiasts, have read several ebooks already (e.g. http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ebook/phot/photoshop+tutorial.all.html ) but still lag behind... Perhaps, there's something I miss... Need your help!
